A lot of developers are wondering what clients' learning curve is on using Concrete5. I can tell you from experience that I have seen a client use Concrete5 efficiently in about 1-2 days. This is someone will average knowledge of the web. The main questions we get are basic web questions that someone with little web experience would ask such as how to link something to another page, how to rename a page, what keywords to use, etc.
As compared to Joomla or other true CMS system the curve is very different. Clients (and some developers/designers) seem to have a much longer learning curve with Joomla; several days if not weeks. Things in Concrete5 are well thought out and easy to use. If this was an MP3 player it would be an iPod. Now if we can just get more designers on board with learing the system we would be happy!

Customize Defaut CSS
Based on the default style sheet with the design you can edit and change the look and feel of the default Concrete 5 theme. Here is a good example: http://www.spanishdutchconvoy.com/ this website was developed using the existing default template and within just a few hours built this website and added the content. Concrete 5 makes it fast and simple to create a website for your clients and for your clients to edit the website as well. The admin area of Concrete 5 is laid out a in a way that lends its self to be user friendly. The basic features are easy to get to however if you look deeper into the system you can find more features that you can use. Unlike Joomla (for example) you are not hit with a large admin area with tons of feature and options staring at you in the face. Concrete 5 keeps the basic features visible and less overwhelming.
Concrete 5 CMS
Concrete 5 is a great CMS system for designers and web developer to use and let their clients use. The system is simple yet allows you to make complex edits and add a lot of what are now standard features for websites.
